Dr. Jeanine Hayen Armesto is a Board Certified Optometric Physician and has proudly served her native Central Florida community since 2008.

Specializing in primary eye health care, medical diagnosis and treatment, pediatrics, and complex contact lens fittings. Dr. Armesto also performs pre-operative and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery care.

Dr. Armesto graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Microbiology. She continued her education by earning another Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  While studying at Nova Southeastern, Dr. Armesto achieved membership into Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and was elected as president of the Florida Optometric Student Association. She completed her residency in ocular disease at the VA Hospital in Bay Pines, Florida, and has advanced experience with diabetic eye care, macular degeneration, dry eye, infectious disease, and glaucoma.

Dr. Armesto is an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Southern Council of Optometrists (SCO), Women of Optometry (WOO), and Florida Optometric Association (FOA).

In her spare time, Dr. Armesto enjoys finding new adventures by traveling with her husband and four children. She also enjoys golfing, bicycling, and cheering on her hometown team the Knights.
